Backpacks 1.6 is now on the App Store. It adds three things people asked for most: files, notes and iCloud sync.
Backpacks started as a place for links and screenshots that you can search by whatever you remember: a phrase from the page, the site's name, or a line of text inside a screenshot. Version 1.6 lets the same library hold more of what you save.
What's new in 1.6
- Files. Save files into Backpacks next to your links and screenshots.
- Notes. Jot down a thought and keep it in the same library.
- iCloud sync. Your library syncs through your own iCloud.
What stays the same
- Save from the share sheet in one tap.
- Screenshot text is read on your iPhone, so you can search it later.
- Search as you type across titles, sites, page text and screenshot text.
- No folders, no tags, no account and no analytics.
- Export your whole library as a zip plus library.json at any time.
Who it's for
